The Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism ("C-TPAT") is a joint US government-business initiative designed to strengthen merchandise supply chain security from manufacturer/supplier or customers, and aimed at securing our borders. Membership in C-TPAT means that chemwerth is a reliable supplier, best positioned to meet your delivery deadlines.
Benefits to chemwerth-represented partners as C-TPAT members, most notably are reduced number of inspections, which shortens Customs clearance and decreases or eliminates delays in the release of your shipment. Additionally, Customs offers to reduce or eliminate penalties for technical errors made by C-TPAT members, and C-TPAT members are eligible for acceptance into other special Customs programs which reduce exposure to Customs scrutiny of their international business transactions.
